Toyota clubs — Supra, AE86 and GR

Toyota covers more ground than any other marque here: a 2JZ Supra build, a preserved AE86, a GR Yaris bought new last year, and a very large number of people who simply like the cars. A club that wants all of them needs structure, not just a chat group.

What changes

What Apex Drive does for Toyota

01

Builds documented properly

Engine, drivetrain, suspension and dyno history per car. A 2JZ build reads as a build, with the work and the numbers visible rather than described.

02

Events scoped to who they suit

A touge-style mountain run and a family-friendly static meet are different events with different caps and different waivers, run under the same club.

03

New-car owners are not an afterthought

GR Yaris and GR86 owners tend to arrive without a modified car and leave when the club only talks about builds. Discovery and events are built around drives, not just garages.

Why this is worth fixing

The Toyota scene’s strength is its range, and that range is also what breaks clubs built around it. Apex Drive lets one committee run a club where the AE86 owners and the GR owners can each find the events that suit them, without splitting into two clubs that both struggle for turnout. Dues, applications and announcements stay central; the drives themselves stay specific.

  • Live lead, you and sweep positions with distance and ETA-to-checkpoint
  • Hold-to-send SOS on every plan, free included — it is never paywalled
  • Applications reviewed against a real garage, never charged before approval
  • Club dues go to the club, not to Apex Drive
FAQ

Toyota — questions people ask

Can an event be limited to certain members?

Events carry hard participant caps, and invite-only clubs restrict who can see them at all. Hosting your own events is part of the Premium driver plan (RM 9.90/mo).

Is Apex Drive affiliated with Toyota?

No. It is independent software any group of owners can use to run its club, meets and convoys.
