Car clubs and meets in Johor Bahru

JB’s scene is shaped by two things nowhere else has in the same combination: Pasir Gudang on the doorstep, and a constant flow of cars and people across the Causeway.

What changes

What Apex Drive does for Johor Bahru

01

Pasir Gudang track days

Capped sessions with a signed waiver per driver and payment collected before the day, so the organiser arrives with a list rather than a clipboard.

02

Long runs north, with a sweep

Cross-state convoys are where sweep tracking earns its place. Live positions, distance-to-sweep and ETA-to-checkpoint across a few hundred kilometres.

03

Membership across a border

A club whose members are not all in the same country still needs one member list, one set of dues and one event record.

Why this is worth fixing

Johor clubs tend to run more track activity and more long-distance touring than their Klang Valley equivalents, and both are administration-heavy in ways a social meet is not. Waivers, caps and prepayment are the difference between a track day that runs and one that overruns. Apex Drive puts those into the event itself so the organiser is not reconstructing who paid and who signed on the morning.

  • Live lead, you and sweep positions with distance and ETA-to-checkpoint
  • Hold-to-send SOS on every plan, free included — it is never paywalled
  • Applications reviewed against a real garage, never charged before approval
  • Club dues go to the club, not to Apex Drive
FAQ

Johor Bahru — questions people ask

Does Apex Drive work outside Malaysia?

The app is being built for Malaysia first and prices in Ringgit. Nothing geo-blocks a member abroad, but discovery, pricing and the launch focus are Malaysian.

What is needed to run a track day?

Premium (RM 9.90/mo) covers personal runs up to ten participants. Recurring larger sessions with dues use a separately purchased Club License.
