BMW clubs, from E30 restorations to current M cars

BMW is one of the widest scenes in Malaysia — an E30 project, an E46 M3 on its second engine and a new M4 are all "BMW", and they rarely want the same drive. A club that cannot split into chapters ends up serving none of them.

What changes

What Apex Drive does for BMW

01

Chapters that reflect the cars

Run classic, E-chassis and current-M groups as separate clubs under the same committee, or as one club with events scoped to who they actually suit.

02

A garage worth vetting on

Chassis code, engine, mods, dyno sheets and build media live on the member, not in a photo album. Restoration progress is visible to the people deciding whether to let someone in.

03

Dues without a treasurer’s spreadsheet

Recurring club dues collect in-app and settle to the club. Applications are not charged until an admin approves them, with a 48-hour review SLA.

Why this is worth fixing

The practical problem for a large BMW club is not enthusiasm, it is administration. Membership lists drift, dues get chased manually, and the same four people end up marshalling everything. Apex Drive gives the committee scoped roles — up to four staff alongside the owner, each with permissions that stop short of billing — plus an Admin Studio holding dues, applications, announcements, sponsor placements and payouts. The people doing the work get the tools without the club handing over its finances to them.

  • Live lead, you and sweep positions with distance and ETA-to-checkpoint
  • Hold-to-send SOS on every plan, free included — it is never paywalled
  • Applications reviewed against a real garage, never charged before approval
  • Club dues go to the club, not to Apex Drive
FAQ

BMW — questions people ask

Can staff be added without giving them billing access?

Yes. Staff permissions are scoped and deliberately exclude billing. The club stays active through its assigned one-time Club License; up to four staff run day-to-day operations. Staff personal plans remain separate.

Where do club dues go?

Dues a club charges its members accrue to the club, less actual provider costs and the configured Apex platform fee. There is no separate monthly club licence.
